On Wednesday 18th February 2026, Stade Rennais welcomed Franck Haise as new First Team Manager at the club. The Normandy native, Haise, had already gained experience at the Breton club between 2006-2012, coaching at the Stade Rennais Academy set-up, before going on to manage Changé and Lorient before taking his first steps as a manager in professional football at Lens, and then with Nice. Haise signed an 18-month contract at his former club, and was accompanied by his loyal assistants, Johann Ramaré (a former Rennes player), Lilian Nalis, and he linked up once more with Hervé Sekli, goalkeeping coach of Brice Samba, and a member of Rennes' Reserve side coaching staff in the form of Pierre-Alexandre Lelièvre.
