Alan Do Marcolino was developed by Stade Lavallois, winning the U13 French Championship with them. He arrived at the Stade Rennais Academy in 2015. This lanky striker, is the son of Fabrice Do Marcolino, who also signed pro for Rennes between 2002-2005, without ever making a senior appearance. This talented centre-forward would go on to rise up through the ranks, and signed his first apprentice professional contract in June 2020. Right-footed, and adept in front of goal, he scored 45 goals in 66 appearances during his time in the U17s and U18s. In 2021/2022 he would become a regular fixture in the Reserve team, and had a very good start to the season. He would be rewarded for his hard work and performances on 28th April 2022, as Stade Rennais invited him to sign his first full professional contract at the club. The three-year contract would tie Do Marcolino Junior to the Red and Blacks until June 2025. On 6th July 2023, he signed a new contract extension, and on 17th July 2023, he was sent out to French Second Division outfit Quevilly Rouen Métropole FC in the French Second Division on a season-long loan deal, albeit without a buyout clause. Upon his return from his loan spell in Normandy, he was sent back out on loan to Orléans, who also play in the French Second Division, for the 2024/2025 campaign. There he would notch two goals in his 19 appearances. After his stay at Orléans concluded, it became clear that Do Marcolino was surplus to requirements at Stade Rennais, who were busily trimming their oversized squad, and - after just three appearances with the club that developed him - he was given a new challenge at the end of July 2025, signing a three-year deal with Lusitania de Lourosa in the Portuguese Second Division.
