As with every season, on the eve of the 1994/1995 season, Stade Rennais FC gave several apprentices the opportunity to train with the First Team squad. Alioune Fall was one of those trying to obtain a first professional contract. The tall and versatile defender was unable to convince Manager Le Milinaire to give him even a single minute of game-time. He was only used in the Reserve team, and - much like his team-mate Atta who came from Benin - the Senegalese player disappeared from view in Rennes at the end of the season, and found a new challenge in Brest, who were an amateur club at the time.
