Career |
|
Struggling after his arrival in France in Marseille, Arthur Farh joined Stade Rennais on 3rd August 1992 in a transaction which also saw defender Moïse Régina arrive at the club. The Liberian striker had the task of helping the club to erase the unhappy memories of the trio Balthazar, Shala and Sliskovic, whose failure contributed to Rennes’ relegation to Division 2. Sometimes paired with Majid Musisi, sometimes in competition with him, Farh was to play 40 matches, scoring 8 goals during his season at the club. At the end of this mixed bag of a season, George Weah’s strike partner in the Liberian national team left Rennes for Grenoble. In 2011, after finishing his playing career, he was arrested in London in possession of cocaine, and accused of drug trafficking.
