On 29th August 2023, Stade Rennais signed Bertug Yildirim from Hatayspor for 5 Million Euros. The imposing Turkish U21 striker signed a 5 year deal tying him to the club until 2028, and completed the Rennes attacking options as he provided a profile which was missing in the squad at the time.
