Born in the USA at Fort Worth in Texas in June 2001, Bryan Reynolds started his footballing career in his home state with the Academy of FC Dallas. He was developed there, before eventually becoming the youngest player at the club to turn professional, in November 2016. Originally used as an attacker, he would be converted to a right back role when he made his debut as a pro. In March 2019, he was sent out on loan to North Texas SC under dual registration. His first game for FC Dallas was against Los Angeles FC in May of that season, and just a week after his debut, he notched up his first assist against the Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS. His first goal as a professional came whilst playing for North Texas in August 2019, against Tormenta FC. Dallas gave him a four year contract in October 2020, and he was even named in the top 22 players under the age of 22 in Major League Soccer. In February 2021, he swapped his homeland to sign a six-month loan deal at AS Roma, with an obligation to buy him at the end of his spell there. But Reynolds wouldn't see much action in Rome, and he was sent out on loan to Belgian outfit Kortrijk for five months in 2022. After making 9 appearances during his brief stay, the American was loaned out to another Belgian club, this time Westerlo, for a season-long stay. His loan spell would prove to be a profitable one, on this occasion, and Westerlo signed the American international on a permanent deal in 2023. He would go on to spend four seasons there, making a total of 141 appearances, scoring four goals from right back. The US International represented his country at youth level, in U16, U17, U18 and U23 before being called up to the senior squad for the first time.
During the Summer transfer window in July 2026, Stade Rennais were looking for reinforcements in the full-back position, and signed Reynolds on a permanent deal for 3.5 Million Euros, with a 4 year contract for the Red and Blacks.
