Qualified for the Europa League, Stade Rennais made a real transfer coup by signing Clément Grenier. The French international signed for Rennes on 24th July 2018 from Guingamp. The attacking, and box-to-box midfielder, who was developed at Lyon, was brought in to add a bit of flair to a midfield which has been shorn of Gourcuff and Prcic, who had left in the close season.
