Born in 2006, Djibril Diallo started playing football in his native Paris region, with spells at local sides such as Limeil-Brévannes, Creteil and Lusitanos St Maur. He continued his development with Foot Paris Academy before joining the Stade Rennais Academy setup to play with the U14s. This attacking talent demonstrated courage and determination in the face of injuries, which hampered his progress. He suffered a cruciate ligament injury which kept him out for the entire 2025/2026 season. The club demonstrated their faith in Diallo's capabilities by offering him his first professional contract on 22nd May 2026, which ties the young talent to the Red and Blacks until 2027.
