Portuguese centre back, Gonçalo Oliveira was born in Lisbon in July 2006. He was developed in his hometown by the legendary club Benfica, and would play for the Benfica Reserve team in 2025/2026. He would be an integral part of the Benfica side which made it to the Semi-Finals of the UEFA Youth League. The promising left-footed defender was called up to represent his national team at U17, U18, U19 and U21 level. On 19th June 2026, Oliveira signed for Stade Rennais in a four-year deal worth 3.5 Million Euros (including potential bonuses) to Benfica.
