Born in Lilas in 2006, Issa Habri began his development in the Paris region, with Paris Saint Germain, Villejuif, Paris FC and Drancy, before heading for the capital of Brittany in 2021, aged 15, signing for the Stade Rennais Academy setup. The agile defender scored in the final of the Challenge Espoirs for Rennes against Monaco in 2025, and represented Morocco in the U20 World Cup, where his country ended up runners-up. On 5th March 2026, Habri signed his first professional contract with Red and Blacks, tying him to the club until 2028.
