Jean-Yves Anis arrived at the Stade Rennais Academy in 1996. A versatile defender, this Franco-Ivorian never made it as a professional footballer in Brittany. He left for Chelsea in 2001, where he played in the Reserves, before finally kickstarting his professional career with Partick Thistle in Scotland in 2003.
