Junior Aké signed his first professional contract with Stade Rennais on 24th February 2026, tying himself to the club which developed him for three years, until 2029. He began his development with Sarcelles, before joining the Rennes Academy setup in 2022. The left-sided defender was a key member of the U19 team which went on to win the French Youth Cup (Coupe Gambardella) in 2025. He was called up to the professional squad for the first time for the prestigious match at home to Paris Saint Germain (3-1 win for the Red and Blacks) by caretaker manager Sébastien Tambouret on 13th February 2026.
