Kilian BELAZZOUG

Born in the Paris region, Kilian Belazzoug starting playing football when he was 9 years old, but didn't become a goalkeeper until two years later. After spending time with local clubs CS Villetaneuse and JA Drancy, he signed for Stade Rennais to play in the U15s team, and then integrated the academy setup full-time the following year. He rose up through the different age groups, and in the 2024/2025 season, he made 12 appearances in the U19s, including five clean-sheets, and he also made his first steps in the Reserves in the French fifth tier (National 3). He would make three appearances for the Reserve Team, with two clean-sheets to his name. In the Semi-Final of the Challenge Espoirs U21 national cup competition, he shone in the match against Toulouse, notably in the penalty shoot-out, which decided the winner. On 26th June 2025, Belazzoug signed his first professional contract in a three-year deal with Stade Rennais, tying the goalkeeper to the Breton club until 2028.
