Loic BADIASHILE

On 31st January 2019, Stade Rennais welcomed Loïc Badiashile on loan with a buy-out option from Monaco. This goalkeeper was an Academy product from the Principality, and he had knocked Rennes out of the League Cup a few weeks previously. In the penalty shoot-out, he had saved several efforts from Red and Blacks players, before going on to score the winning penalty himself. After 4 months at Rennes, with the superb Europa League campaign, he was named on the bench for 13 matches, without ever getting game time. His buy-out clause was deemed too high, and was not activated by Stade Rennais.
