Born in Rennes, Michel Jeuland benefitted from certain professional players going on strike, to make his one and only appearance for the Stade Rennais First Team in the 1977/1978 season. Jeuland was a defender, who arrived at the club from TA Rennes, and he spent most of his time with Rennes playing in the Third Division with the Reserves. In 1973, he lifted the French FA Youth Cup (Coupe Gambardella) alongside Pierrick Hiard, but he was unable to make the breakthrough as a First Team regular in professional football, aside from his only appearance in the First Team, a 2-2 draw against Lille on Matchday 15 of the Division Two championship on 19th November 1977. For that game, he was selected to play at centre-back alongside Larnicol. At the end of the 1977/1978 season, he left Rennes to sign for Drapeau de Fougères. He later became an official at Chavagne, near Rennes, where he was Treasurer from 1993 onwards.
