On 21st August 2023, Cameroon player Nagida Aboubakar arrived from Ecole de Football des Brasseries in his native country to sign for Stade Rennais. This athletic left-back already had a title to his name, winning the Francophone Games with the 'Indomitable Lions'' U20 side. Pacy and powerful, he can play anywhere on the left flank. His five-year contract will give him the chance to earn his stripes with Rennes' Reserve Team, before joining the professionals in the First Team squad subsequently.
