Son of Mickaël Pagis, and striker, just like his father, Pablo Pagis began his footballing apprenticeship, aged 10, at the Stade Rennais Academy, having previously been with Pont-Péan in Ille-et-Vilaine as a youngster. After six seasons spent with the Red and Blacks, he left to continue his development with FC Lorient during the 2018/2019 season. His first season with the "Merlus" was virtually blank in terms of action, mainly down to back problems relating to his natural growth spurts as an adolescent. He would still get his chance to earn his spurs, however, thanks to his perseverance and his talent as a striker. After featuring in 13 matches with the Reserves, with three goals and three assists to his name in National 2 (French 4th Division) at the beginning of the 2021/2022 season, he went on to sign his first professional contract with Lorient on 24th December 2021.
