In 1994, and a year before his younger brother Benoît, joined the First Team squad at Stade Rennais FC. Under Manager Michel Le Milinaire, this central defender by trade played 15 matches in his first two seasons. After seeing his path blocked by Denis, Jensen and Cyprien in central defence, the player from Finistère managed to get some game-time with the occasional appearance as a full-back. In the 1996/1997 season under Colleu, he was set to finally get his career up-and-running, but that seemed highly unlikely with the arrival of the disappointing new recruits Mahé, Papura and Smith, and the rising star Lassissi all above him in the pecking list. It was in the 1997/1998 season which was to be his most complete year at the club, making 11 starts under Manager David, but the pairing of Réveillère and Silvestre again consigned him to the substitutes bench. After a brief appearance in Le Guen’s reign as Manager, he joined Laval in Division 2 in 1999. Le Bris returned to the club as a Youth Team Manager in 2006.
