Hailing from the Val d'Oise region near Paris, Yanis Dede Lhomme began playing football zith Saint-Brice, and stayed there until U13 level, then after passing his tests with flying colours, he was signed up by the RC Lens Academy. During 5 years, he would continue his apprenticeship, notably lining up for the U19s in the National League in what would be his final season in the North of France. Born in 2002, this left-sided centre-back moved onto Chambly in July 2020. There he would also figure primarily in the U19s but was also called up to the professionals for an away game at Clermont at the beginning of 2021 in the Second Division. He was called upon by FC Rouen for the 2021/2022 season, but chose to sign for Stade Rennais instead. He was adept at clearing his lines, and read the game well, and he was a regular member of Rennes Reserves starting line-up in National 3 (French Fifth Division). At the end of the 2021/2022 season, and out of contract with Rennes, he would try his luck in Cyprus, signing for Aris Limassol in the First Division there on 31st May 2022, following a successful trial.
