Stade Rennais officially signed up Florian Maurice as Technical Director on the 29th May 2020. The deal had been reached a month before the former Director of Recruitment of Olympique Lyonnais came to complete the new club structure after the departure of President Olivier Létang in February 2020. The former international striker arrived with the task of working closely together with his new President Nicolas Holveck and Manager Julien Stéphan.
