Arnaud KALIMUENDO

Born in the Paris region in Suresnes, Arnaud Kalimuendo began his footballing journey with FC Saint-Cloud before signing for Paris Saint Germain in 2012, aged 10 years old. He would play for all the age categories at the club, even playing in the European Youth League aged 16 with Paris. Centre-Forward by trade, but also capable of playing on the right side of the attack, he signed his first professional contract on 8th July 2019 in the capital. Playing in precious few games with the professionals in his first season, he was loaned out to Lens for the 2020/2021 season, and then again for the following season. Whilst in Lens, he racked up a total of 65 appearances and 21 goals over the course of his two seasons in the North of France. Kalimuendo was also regularly called up to the French national youth teams from 16 years upwards. He took part in games from the U16s all the way up to the U21s. After returning to Paris after his loan spells in the Summer of 2022, he was not retained in the main squad, and found an escape route to achieve more game time with Stade Rennais, signing for the Breton club on 11th August 2022, on a 5-year deal, worth a total 25 Million Euros, including bonuses (20 Million + 5 Million Euros in Bonuses) He would play three full seasons with Rennes, improving his output each season, eventually becoming Rennes main goalscorer. In the 2022/2023 season, he scored 7 goals in 37 appearances (in all competitions.) The following season, he netted on 15 occasions, of which four goals came in the French Cup, and a further goal was scored in the Europa League. He also represented the French Olympic Team at the Paris Olympics in the summer of 2024, scoring three goals in 10 appearances for the U21s side. In his final season for Rennes (2024/2025), he achieved a personal record of 18 goals (in all competitions), finishing third top goalscorer in Ligue 1, that despite the Red and Blacks having a disappointing season overall. He ended his stay with Stade Rennais with a total of 40 goals in 112 appearances. In the 2025 Summer transfer window, Nottingham Forest acquired the services of Kalimuendo on 18th August 2025 in a deal with 30 Million Euros plus 3 Million Euros in potential bonuses.
