Born in 2003, Danish centre-forward Henrik Meister started his playing days as a youth with Skjold and then BK 1903 before turning professional in 2021 with the Danish club FA2000, where he would stay for just half a season, notching one goal in his 15 appearances. In the winter transfer window in February 2022, the tall striker of 1.91m was transferred to another side in Denmark, Fremad Amarger, where he was more efficient, scoring 5 goals during his 25 matches at the club. In August 2023, he accepted an offer to join Norwegian outfit Sarpsborg and the promising youngster came of age with 9 goals in 19 appearances. His performances attracted the attention of lots to top clubs around Europe. A year after his arrival, he would break the club's transfer record for a sale, signing for Stade Rennais in a 4-year deal worth 9 Million Euros plus add-ons, where he would link up with his Danish compatriot Albert Grønbæk, who had also just arrived from the Norwegian championship a few weeks previously. Despite scoring on his debut in the opening game of the season against Lyon, Meister would only get a grand total of 63 minutes' game time for the Red and Blacks, before being loaned out on 10th January to Pisa in the Italian Second Division (Serie B), whose coach happened to be Italien legend, Filippo Inzaghi. The deal includes a buyout clause estimated at 7 Million Euros.
