On 3rd February 2025, Stade Rennais signed Kazeem Olaigbe on a four-and-a-half year contract. Born in Nigeria, Olaigbe was developed in Belgium with Andelecht, and having also spent time in England with Southampton, the Belgian left-winger arrived at Rennes in a deal worth 4 Million Euros with a potential 2 Million Euros in bonuses from Cercle Bruges. After a half-season in Rennes with two assists in ten appearances and only three in the starting line-up, Olaigbe was sidelined by coach Habib Beye during the pre-season in the summer of 2025, and on 6th August 2025 he was transferred to Trabzonspor in Turkey for 5 Million Euros.
