Kylian GASNIER

Kylian Gasnier was a highly talented player, who arrived at Stade Rennais in 2017, where he would be developed in the Academy setup. This promising attacking midfielder, however, was unable to convince the club's staff that he had what it took to turn professional with Rennes, and he was released at the end of his studies. In Summer 2022, he left Rennes, and remained without a club for six months. He would go on trials in Spain, and then in Portugal, where he tried out with no fewer than four First Division clubs there (Braga, Famaliçao, Rio Ave and Vizela), albeit unsuccessfully. Not to be deterred, he took on a new challenge, signing for Les Herbiers in the French Fourth Division (National 2) in January 2023. This experience would be a positive one for him, as he succeeded in catching the eye of Niort, with whom he went on to sign his first professional contract in July 2023.
